James Edmiston
James Edmiston was born in Edinburgh in 1943. He was educated at Rugby School, and Brasenose College Oxford where he read law. Following a good grounding in production engineering, he ran the world renowned Sterling Armament Company for 12 years, with a degree of success that he claims was entirely due to his various colleagues and loyal employees.
He recently founded Boxall & Edmiston with Peter Boxall, formerly of Jaguar, W&C Scott and manufacturing director of Holland & Holland. Under their leadership, Boxall & Edmiston have become one of the largest shotgun manufacturers in Britain today. By ensuring the guns compliment the shooters physical form, shooting style and personal style, a niche market has been forged for the team based in Shropshire.
J.HARRY EDMISTON
J.Harry Edmiston was born, raised and educated in the United Kingdom, J.Harry is an experienced Creative Director with a background in Marketing, Advertising, Communications and Sales primarily in the luxury goods sector. Formerly at CNN International, he has 10 years of extensive international experience in digital, advertising and creative production in addition to wide-ranging involvement working with his father in the military and civilian small-arms manufacturing industry.
He has spent considerable time living and working between the US, Canada, Middle East, Africa and Asia and holds a combined Hons degree in Arts (Chinese & Economics) from the University of Durham. He currently resides in London.
